Young and Old Souls

The lives of the people are always so short, and yet, there are some who seem to live as if they could never die. Revelling in the moment, not a care in the world. They stop not, even if they know death is approaching, because death is no hindrance to a life that has been lived.

Then there are some people, who seem to live a thousand years, in just one. They are careful, keeping an eye on every little thing, because any of it could be gone in the blink of an eye. They do not fear death, instead, they look forward to it, greeting it as they would an old friend.
