Mr.Peculiar
Old Mr.Peculiar
Was a tall, stout man
He walked with a limp and a cane
And carried an empty can
Old Mr.Peculiar
Was known quite well on his street
As a funny old joker
Who had a penchant for all things sweet
Old Mr.Peculiar
Carried lozenges everywhere
Blackberry, Lemon, Apple, Papaya
You name it, and they were there
Old Mr.Peculiar
Took walks around the park
From the near end to the far
Listening to the songs, sung by the lark
Old Mr. Peculiar
Was loved by all
Whether stranger or a person familiar
He got more than one housecall
Old Mr.Peculiar
Is now going to bed
He has closed his eyes
To get some well deserved rest
