Do we lead life, or does life lead us?

Everyone leads a life at some point or the other. They start off as an innocent soul, new to the world, watching with wide eyes as it burns and crashes all around. But alas! Innocence is such a thing, you never realise the damage till it’s too late.

We all lead our lives at some point. Growing and changing, learning to accept, accepting to learn. And around us, the flames spread, and all we can do is watch, for our voices will be lost with the cries of all the others.

Do we all lead our lives? Or do we just march along to its beat, watching as we destroy ourselves, never comprehending that our demise might be nearer to us than we thought it would be?

It’s a question asked quite often. But the answer will remain unknown till death. It is probably for the best though, since some things are much better left unsaid.
